My wife and I ate here with our young daughter. Melana was our waitress. Melana enjoyed her job and was great to talk with. We ordered a variety of drinks, appetizers, mains, sides, and deserts. Everything was excellent, and I don't think there is a bad choice on the menu, depending on your preference. We had an enjoyable evening here!

I brought my mom to Mill House for a mother–daughter date and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was warm, the food was delicious, and the staff was welcoming. Our server, Sareena, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. She truly made the night special. My mom loved every minute of it, and I can’t wait to come back!

We went here for my birthday this evening 11/13/25 and Daje was absolutely amazing!! I truly appreciate how she made my birthday dinner special! The food was amazing also! Definitely will be coming back for sure!!

Perfect place for a nice dinner out with family or friends. Great spot for business dinner as well. The chicken and spooned biscuits were heavenly! Drinks for the bar were tasty and overall service was excellent. There is no reason to pass this place up if you’re in town.

Just had an amazing anniversary dinner at The Millhouse! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the view of the river was beautiful, and we loved all the historic charm of the place. But honestly, the best part was the service—Deja was fantastic and made the whole night feel extra special. .

My husband and I went there for date night and our waitress was Kathryn she was outstanding she explained everything we wanted to order she was very attentive and she was extremely helpful. They better keep her. The food was excellent and tasted delicious I had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious. My husband had the Korean belly and he loved it. He also had the pork chop which he loved and took a doggy bag. I started to get the flounder but I learned it was a full flounder so I ordered the shrimp and grits instead and it was outstanding that was the first time I had shrimp and grits and it was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and we will definitely return.

I ordered the fried catfish with grits, and it did not disappoint! The catfish was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly fried—not overdone, not undercooked. The gravy was rich and flavorful, complementing the creamy grits beautifully. My only suggestion would be to offer a smaller plate option, as the dish came with two large fillets, which was quite a generous portion. A one-fillet option would be perfect for those looking for something lighter. Great service.
